About Us

We are a busy, independent butcher’s shop known for high-quality meats, traditional skills, and excellent customer service. We are passionate about developing new talent and keeping traditional butchery skills alive.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Trainee Butcher to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in butchery and learn a skilled trade from experienced professionals.

No prior butchery experience is required — full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the preparation and cutting of meat
Learning knife skills and butchery techniques
Serving customers and handling basic enquiries
Keeping work areas clean and following hygiene standards
Helping with stock rotation and deliveries
Supporting the team with day-to-day shop tasks

A strong interest in learning a skilled trade
Good work ethic and willingness to learn
