Full job description

We are looking for a lead carpenter / site manager to join our small but quickly growing construction company. This role would suit someone who's held a similar position previously or has relevant experience and looking to step up into a lead role. Either way, you will be fully supported by the project manager.

The role would be the lead carpenter in a team of one other carpenter and one labourer. Typically, the projects would be loft conversions, garden rooms or refurbs.

Duties / Responsibilities:

Day-to-day management of the site build team in accordance with schedule.
Weekly ordering of materials as needed
Oversight of all trades attending site
Principal contact with client during build
Oversight of site HSE
Weekly reporting to Project Manager
First and second fix carpentry
Installation of steels, upvc windows, stair case etc.
