Chef / Future Head Chef – Dotty’s Bistro, Ludham

Salary: Competitive, negotiable depending on experience and progressionHours: Primarily 9am–4pm, with occasional evening events during the summer monthsLocation: Dotty’s Bistro at The Old Fire Station, Ludham

Join Our Growing Team

Following an incredibly successful launch, we’re looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to join the team at Dotty’s Bistro.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to work alongside an experienced Rosette-awarded chef, helping to deliver high-quality, freshly prepared food in our busy and growing bistro.

For the right candidate, there is a clear pathway to progress into the role of Head Chef from the end of September, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career.

About Us

At Dotty’s Bistro, we pride ourselves on serving fresh, quality food made to order. Our menu focuses on brunch, breakfast, lunches and seasonal specials, with an emphasis on quality ingredients, presentation and exceptional customer experience.

The Role

Preparing and cooking fresh food to order
Working closely with our Rosette-awarded chef
Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
Assisting with menu development and seasonal specials
Managing kitchen operations and service during busy periods
Ensuring excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
Supporting the transition into a future Head Chef position

About You

Previous experience as a chef in a busy kitchen environment
Strong brunch and breakfast experience preferred
Passion for fresh, quality food
Calm under pressure and organised during busy services
Ambitious and looking to develop into a leadership role
Excellent standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
Reliable, positive and a team player
