Full job description

Overview
We’re looking for a creative Social Media Lead to join our growing marketing team. As a family-run business, we offer a collaborative environment where you’ll have the opportunity to develop our social presence across multiple platforms for Natures Grub brands, such as Horse Herbs, Bunny Bistro & more!

This is a hands-on role focused on planning, creating and managing content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. You’ll work closely with the wider marketing team to ensure content supports upcoming campaigns, product launches and seasonal activity.

You’ll play a key role in building brand awareness, showcasing our products and connecting with our customers through engaging and consistent content.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

Plan, create and publish engaging content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
Produce a mix of photo, video and short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Stories)
Write captions that reflect the brand tone and encourage engagement
Create product-focused, lifestyle and promotional content

Content Planning & Campaign Support

Plan and schedule content in line with wider marketing activity, such as product launches, promotions and seasonal campaigns
Contribute ideas to support campaigns and keep content fresh and relevant

Social Media Management

Manage content calendars across platforms
Monitor comments, messages and engagement, responding where appropriate
Stay up to date with trends and identify opportunities
Ensure consistency in branding, tone and messaging

Performance & Analytics

Track and review performance of posts and campaigns
Use insights to refine content and improve engagement
Report on key metrics such as reach, engagement and growth

Content Organisation

Maintain organised content libraries (images, videos, templates)
Assist with basic photo and video editing for social use

Skills

(Essential) Experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or TikTok Shop) or a strong personal portfolio
Confident creating short-form video content (Reels/TikTok)
Photo and video editing skills
Good understanding of social media trends
Strong organisational skills
Creative mindset with attention to detail
Interest in the pet food or pet care sector
Positive, proactive attitude and comfortable working in a small team

Hybrid working of two days per week is available upon successful completion of the probation period.

Hours of work - Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm
