Office Manager

Location: Canton, Cardiff
Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to join our team. This is a varied role that combines accounting, payroll, administration, and facilities management responsibilities, making it ideal for a proactive individual who enjoys working across multiple business functions.

Key Responsibilities Accounts & Payroll

Manage company accounts and payroll processes.
Maintain accurate financial records and book keeping activities.
Prepare financial reports and assist with account reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and procedures.
Use Xero and Microsoft Excel to manage financial data effectively.

Office Administration

Develop, implement, and maintain efficient administrative systems and procedures.
Prepare, organise, and maintain personnel files and employee records.
Support day-to-day office operations and ensure smooth business administration.
Coordinate correspondence and provide administrative support to management.

Facilities & Operations

Liaise with contractors and external service providers.
Prepare and maintain Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety procedures.
Support facilities management activities to ensure the office environment is safe and well-maintained.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum AAT qualification (or equivalent accounting qualification).
Proven experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and office management.
Proficiency in Xero and office Suite.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
