The role of CNC Machinist:

Setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
Selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures and machine settings to achieve required tolerances
Producing components to exacting quality standards and customer requirements

The ideal CNC Machinist:

Previous experience working within a CNC Operator, CNC Miller, or similar machining position
Ability to set, operate and programme CNC milling machinery within a manufacturing environment
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings confidently
Good understanding of engineering tolerances and quality requirements
