Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our joinery team,supporting various construction and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, practical skills in using hand and power tools,maintenance and general labouring tasks, and the ability to operate a range of tools and machinery. This role offers an opportunity to develop hands-on experience in joinery works, and site upkeep within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Assisting with joinery and tasks as required,
Operating hand tools, power tools,
Supporting construction activities by moving materials, digging trenches, and assisting with groundworks.
Performing routine site maintenance to uphold safety standards and cleanliness
Assisting with general repairs and mechanical tasks as required
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times

Qualifications

Prior experience or knowledge in building maintenance, is advantageous
Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
Practical understanding of irrigation systems and site maintenance procedures
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently when required
Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction or horticulture are beneficial but not essential

This position is suitable for motivated individuals eager to gain practical experience across multiple disciplines within the construction and landscaping sectors. Applicants should demonstrate reliability, physical stamina, and a proactive approach to their work.
