Third Dimension Fitness isn't your average gym. We're an award-winning, coaching-led fitness business with two thriving studios in South Devon, helping hundreds of members become stronger, healthier and more confident. But we're only just getting started. Our ambition is to continue expanding with additional studios before launching our franchise model, and we're looking for someone who wants to become part of that exciting journey.
We're searching for an organised, commercially minded Finance & Operations Coordinator who enjoys numbers, loves systems and wants to help a growing business make smarter decisions. This isn't simply a bookkeeping role. We're looking for someone who can keep our finances running smoothly while helping us understand what the numbers are telling us.
The Role Working directly alongside the business owners, you'll take responsibility for keeping our financial administration accurate, organised and up to date while producing clear reports and dashboards that support business growth.
Initially, the role will require approximately 5-10 hours per month, with significant opportunity for the role to expand as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities - Maintain accurate bookkeeping - Run monthly payroll - Bank reconciliations - Prepare information for VAT returns - Liaise with our external accountant - Produce monthly Profit & Loss reports - Monitor cash flow - Create spreadsheets, dashboards and KPI reports - Identify financial trends and highlight opportunities or concerns - Help improve financial systems and processes - Support budgeting and forecasting - Provide clear, easy-to-understand financial information to the directors
About You:
You'll ideally have experience in bookkeeping, management accounting or finance and enjoy working with ambitious small businesses. You'll be: - Highly organised - Commercially minded - Proactive rather than reactive - Comfortable using Xero - Confident with Excel and/or Google Sheets - Excellent with numbers and attention to detail - Able to explain financial information in plain English - Someone who enjoys improving systems and making businesses more efficient Experience within the fitness industry isn't essential.
