We are seeking an ambitious and talented Head Chef to lead our kitchen team, drive culinary standards, and help shape the future of our food offering.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and fostering a positive team environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and leadership skills within a dynamic hospitality setting.

Duties

Lead and supervise the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of food preparation.
Plan and develop menus that reflect current trends while maintaining consistency with the establishment’s style and standards.
Oversee food production, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest quality and presented attractively.
Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Train new staff members in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety procedures.
Monitor food safety practices across the kitchen to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Innovate new recipes and improve existing ones to enhance the dining experience.

Requirements

Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment.
Extensive background in food production, cooking, and culinary arts.
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative atmosphere.
Demonstrable experience in food preparation, presentation, and service in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
Excellent leadership qualities combined with organisational skills.
Previous experience in restaurant management or as a head chef is highly desirable.
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
Passion for culinary excellence and innovation in food creation.

Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
