About Mantle Web Development Limited
Mantle Web Development is a dynamic and growing digital agency dedicated to building high-quality, bespoke web solutions for our clients. Our strapline, "At the Core of Your Business", is reflective of how we pride ourselves on clean code, excellent user experiences, and strong, long-term client relationships. We are looking for a passionate developer to join our team and grow with us, aligned with our values of being: cooperative; holistic; proactive; a problem solver; and to have fun with their work.
The Role
We are seeking a talented and versatile Microsoft Platform Engineer to join our team in a key delivery role.
Your time will be primarily dedicated to building, maintaining, and improving Microsoft-based solutions for our clients, with a strong focus on Power Platform and Dynamics 365. You will play a central role in delivering real-world solutions that integrate multiple systems.
This role requires a strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to take ownership of defined areas of a solution and work through technical challenges independently. You will be expected to diagnose and resolve issues across flows, applications, and integrations, contributing to building robust, maintainable systems.
You will work closely with the wider team to deliver high-quality solutions, supporting both internal development efforts and client-facing systems where required. While the role is primarily internal, there may be occasional involvement in client discussions where appropriate.
As part of a growing technical offering, you will also have the opportunity to expand your skillset into Azure and broader cloud platform services over time.
Responsibilities
· Develop, maintain, and improve solutions using Power Platform, including Power Apps (Canvas Apps), Power Automate, Dataverse, and Dynamics.
· Take ownership of defined components of larger solutions, delivering features and improvements end-to-end within those areas.
· Diagnose and resolve technical issues across flows, applications, and integrations, including debugging complex or inconsistent behaviours.
· Work with external systems and APIs, including handling data transformations between formats such as XML and JSON.
· Support integration work between systems (e.g. third-party platforms and Dynamics 365), ensuring data consistency and reliability.
· Collaborate with the wider team to deliver cohesive and well-structured solutions across client projects.
· Assist in maintaining and improving existing systems, including refactoring and optimisation where required.
· Contribute to solution design discussions, offering input on implementation approaches and technical decisions.
· Support occasional Azure-related work, with the opportunity to develop skills in cloud services over time.
· Maintain clear and structured documentation where appropriate.
Requirements
· Proven professional experience working with Microsoft technologies, particularly Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365 (approximately 2+ years).
· Strong proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas Apps), Power Automate, and Dataverse.
· Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical issues independently.
· Understanding of APIs and data handling, including working with JSON and/or XML.
· Ability to understand and work across integrated systems and data flows.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts when required.
· Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
· Willingness to learn and expand into Azure and broader cloud technologies over time.
