Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid background in administrative functions. This role involves managing team activities, maintaining efficient office procedures, and ensuring a professional environment that supports the organisation’s objectives. The Office Manager will be instrumental in fostering a productive workplace through effective supervision and administrative oversight.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily office activities to ensure smooth operations
Manage human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, and staff development
Oversee financial tasks using QuickBooks, including invoicing, expense tracking, and budgeting
Supervise administrative staff and provide guidance on clerical tasks and office procedures
Maintain organised filing systems for documents, records, and correspondence
Handle communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions with professional phone etiquette
Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes to facilitate effective team collaboration
Oversee office supplies inventory and place orders as needed to ensure operational efficiency
Implement organisational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and compliance

Requirements

Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with supervisory responsibilities
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and general office software (e.g., MS Office Suite)
Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette
Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Experience in human resources management including staff supervision and development
Previous experience in clerical or administrative roles within an office environment
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams efficiently
Exceptional organisational skills to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
