Full job description

We are a busy, established lettings and property management company managing a large portfolio across Cambridge and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for a confident and proactive individual to join our team as a Front of House / Lettings Coordinator, acting as the first point of contact for tenants, landlords and contractors.

We are a small, close-knit team, and there will be times where you are the main point of contact in the office. Confidence and the ability to work independently are therefore essential.

Please note this role is fully office-based in our Papworth Everard office.

The Role

This position is primarily focused on handling incoming enquiries and keeping the day-to-day flow of the office running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

Answering incoming calls and dealing with enquiries from tenants and landlords
Managing and responding to emails within the shared inbox
Logging and progressing maintenance issues
Booking appointments (viewings, inspections and contractor access)
Chasing updates from contractors and tenants
Supporting the wider team with general administration

You will be expected to handle a high volume of communication and ensure all enquiries are dealt with efficiently and professionally.

What We're Looking For

This role is not suited to someone who prefers quiet, task-based work. We are looking for someone who is:

Confident and comfortable speaking on the phone
Organised and able to prioritise a busy workload
Calm under pressure
Proactive and able to take initiative
Friendly, but able to communicate clearly and firmly when needed

Previous experience in lettings or property is preferred, as this will assist in handling enquiries confidently from day one.

Hours:
3 days per week (22.5 hours)

Tuesday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Plus one additional weekday (Monday, Wednesday or Thursday) to be agreed with the successful candidate.

This is a key role within the business and will suit someone who enjoys responsibility and being relied upon as part of a team.

Pay: £15,000.00-£18,000.00 per year
