Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Part-Time Caretaker to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of Celtic Harmony Camp near Hertford.

Please note we are in a remote location you need to have your own car to buy supplies.

This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude, good organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming.

Previous experience in caretaking is essential.

Responsibilities

Conduct general maintenance of indoor and outdoor areas
Grassland and woodland management
Fencing erection
Painting and decorating
Ensure all communal spaces are kept tidy and presentable at all times
Monitor and report any repairs or safety hazards promptly
Waste management
Assist with setting up and packing away equipment for events or activities
Maintain supplies and notify management when stock levels are low
Support with gardening tasks such as watering plants and trimming hedges
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure environment for all visitors and staff

Experience

Previous experience in caretaking, cleaning, or maintenance roles is mandatory
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to caretaking duties
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
