Full job description

Utilities Operative / Skilled Labourer

Location: North Yorkshire & East Yorkshire

Salary: Competitive (Dependent on Experience)

Mike Dowson Ltd is a growing utilities and civils contractor delivering fibre and electrical infrastructure works across North Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Utilities Operative / Skilled Labourer to join our team working on fibre and utility civils projects.

The role will involve working as part of a gang carrying out:

Duct installation
Excavation and reinstatement works
Fibre civils works
Mole plough operations
Utility trenching
Cable pulling
General civils activities

What we're looking for:

Experience within utilities, civils or construction preferred
Full UK driving licence
Good work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to work as part of a team
NRSWA, CSCS or plant tickets advantageous but not essential
