Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with the daily financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy in financial records.

Responsibilities

Assist with the management of accounts payable and receivable processes.
Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
Utilise Sage accounting software for daily transactions.
Support month-end closing procedures by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as required.
Maintain organised filing systems for financial documents and records.
Data entry and management of vehicle fuel consumption
Assist with the data entry on the Vehicle Maintenance Software, training to be provided as required.

Experience

Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar role is desirable.
Familiarity with Sage accounting software preferable.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
