Full job description

Job Overview
At heart we’re an educational charity that helps children who struggle in school and young adults with learning difficulties.

We run a number of commercial activities - including our Butchery and Farm Shop - to help generate the income for that charitable work.

The Butchery and Farm Shop is open Wed-Sun, selling fantastic native-breed meat reared on the farm, alongside a range of other goods from local suppliers. Under our Butchery Manager, the shop has gone from strength-to-strength and has a great reputation; it's the kind of 'proper' butchery that is increasingly hard to find.

We are seeking an experienced and capable Part Time Butcher who will work with our Full Time Butchery Manager. We need someone who is experienced in whole-carcass beef, lamb and pork butchery, as well as processing sausages, bacon, burgers etc. Whilst most of your work will be in the preparation room, you'll also be happy serving customers when required.

We need someone 3 days a week, including weekend work - although there will be a requirement for flexibility to provide holiday cover and help manage the Christmas rush.

There is a lot involved, but the Trust is a wonderful place to work and we have a great team - you could be part of it!

Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
