Overview

Casual Housekeeper

Location: Cricklade House Hotel & Spa, Wiltshire
Department: Housekeeping
Reporting To: Head Housekeeper / Housekeeping Supervisor
Contract Type: Casual / Flexible Hours

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Casual Housekeepers to join our housekeeping team at Cricklade House Hotel & Spa. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation while helping to create an exceptional guest experience.

Working on a flexible, casual basis, you will assist with the cleaning and preparation of guest bedrooms, public areas and hotel facilities, ensuring they are presented to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and service guest bedrooms and bathrooms to company standards.
Change bed linen, make beds and replenish guest amenities.
Ensure all public areas, corridors and guest facilities are clean, tidy and welcoming.
Report maintenance issues, damages or lost property to the appropriate department.
Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures.
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
Assist with laundry duties as required.
Respond politely and professionally to guest requests.
Work efficiently to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals.
Support colleagues and other departments to maintain excellent service standards.

What We're Looking For

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
Excellent attention to detail.
A positive and friendly attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and bank holidays as required.
A commitment to delivering exceptional standards of cleanliness and guest service.
