Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Scaffolder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures on various building sites. This role requires a strong understanding of construction safety standards and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within the construction industry while ensuring safe and secure working environments.

Responsibilities

Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications
Inspect scaffolding for stability and safety before use, ensuring all components are secure and compliant
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to assemble scaffolding components accurately
Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, roofers, electricians, or masons to facilitate smooth workflow
Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all scaffolding materials are stored safely when not in use
Conduct routine inspections during shifts to identify potential hazards or structural issues and address them promptly
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to minimise risks on site

Skills

. experience in scaffolding installation and dismantling

Knowledge of construction-related trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, or electrical work is advantageous
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in scaffolding assembly and fabrication
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to working at height
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights safely
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and site managers
