Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and compassionate Massage/beauty Therapist to join our wellness team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality treatments to clients, promoting relaxation and overall well-being and beauty treatments. This role requires excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to ensure an exceptional experience for each client.

Duties

Deliver customised treatments based on client needs and preferences
Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards
Consult with clients to understand their specific concerns and tailor treatments accordingly
Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client preferences
Promote additional wellness such as nail services or skincare when appropriate
Ensure client comfort throughout the treatments and address any special requirements or sensitivities
Uphold professional standards of conduct, confidentiality, and customer service at all times

Requirements

Proven experience as a level 3 qualified Beauty Therapist or relevant qualification recognised within the industry
At least 2 years experience of employment within a salon (not including training)
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly explain treatments and procedures to clients
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and empathetic approach
Good organisational skills to manage appointments efficiently and maintain cleanliness of the treatment area
Excellent time management
Valid certification or licence to practise as a Massage and beauty Therapist in accordance with local regulations
Professional demeanour with a commitment to ongoing personal development and industry best practices

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour
