Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sofa Frame Maker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing high-quality sofa frames, ensuring durability and precision in every piece. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in fabrication, assembly, or warehouse operations to utilise their technical skills within a dynamic environment. The position involves working with various tools and materials to produce sturdy, well-crafted sofa frames that meet our company's standards.

Responsibilities

Assemble sofa frames using hand tools and power tools with attention to detail and accuracy.
Measure and cut materials according to specifications, ensuring precise fitting of components.
Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to shape and assemble frame parts.
Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure structural integrity and finish standards are met.
Perform heavy lifting of raw materials and completed frames as required, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly after use.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets whilst maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, or warehouse environments is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, etc.
Experience operating power tools including drills, saws, and sanders is desirable.
Skills in sewing or fabricating components are advantageous but not essential.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during the manufacturing process.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
Prior experience in furniture manufacturing or similar industries will be considered an asset. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their craftsmanship within a supportive team environment.
