Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating Mazak CNC lathes and Integrex’s to produce precision components in a small friendly team where everyone mucks in. We would consider an experienced operator to train up to become a programmer. There is lots of scope to learn within this small dynamic company. Mazatrol experience would be advantageous.

Duties

Setting of CNC lathes
Operate CNC machines efficiently to produce components with tight tolerances
Monitor machine operations during production runs, making adjustments as necessary for optimal performance
Conduct routine inspections of machined parts using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
Perform maintenance and on CNC equipment
Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and Solid models for accurate machining processes
Maintain a clean and organised work area adhering to health and safety regulations
Document production activities accurately for set up sheets

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC Turner Setter/Operator or similar machining role
Strong mechanical knowledge
Proficiency in CAM software Visi would be advantageous
Ability to read technical drawings and interpret engineering specifications accurately
Good organisational skills with attention to detail and safety standa
