Overview
We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our dynamic team, specialising driveways and patios , construction, and general maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, practical skills, and a passion for outdoor work. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in horticulture, gardening, and machinery operation within a supportive environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to contribute to high-quality project delivery.

Responsibilities

Assisting with block paving resin and tarmac
Operating hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and efficiently
Supporting excavation activities using excavators and other machinery
Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution
Performing general construction tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and clean-up
Conducting routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
Ensuring work areas are kept safe, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations

Experience

Prior experience in landscape maintenance or construction is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic maintenance procedures is advantageous
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems is preferred
Practical understanding of horticulture or gardening practices is beneficial
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
