About Spincare
Spincare is a fast-growing e-commerce brand with Amazon as our core revenue-driving platform. We are building a commercially focused, operationally aligned marketing function and we are looking for the right people to grow with us.
Right now we are a team of five. This role would make us six. It is a small team, which means your work matters, your contribution is visible, and you will have direct access to the people making decisions.
The Role
We are looking for a dependable, organised and digitally confident Ecommerce Assistant to help support our customer experience and marketplace operations. The role focuses mainly on customer service, marketplace monitoring, and reputation management across Amazon, eBay and Trustpilot, with occasional influencer coordination and light social media support.
It will suit someone who is happy getting into the details, takes ownership of tasks and follows them through reliably, and enjoys the variety that comes with working across multiple channels in a lean team. Equally, if you have got broader experience and you are looking for a well-rounded role without the corporate overhead, this is that kind of place.
You will be office-based during your induction. Once you are up to speed, you will move to our hybrid pattern: three days in the office, two days remote.
What you’ll be doing
Customer service
You will be the first point of contact for customer queries - keeping on top of website tickets, handling the occasional call, and responding to any inbound messages from Amazon or eBay customers or influencers looking to get in touch. Volume is manageable; the standard we hold ourselves to is high.
- Monitor and respond to website tickets, emails, and occasional calls.
- Handle Amazon and eBay customer queries and messaging.
- Manage any inbound enquiries from influencers and follow up as needed.
Reputation Management
Our reviews and ratings across Amazon, eBay and Trustpilot are important to us commercially and competitively. You will keep a close eye on all of it.
- Respond to all Trustpilot reviews - every positive gets a reply, every negative gets proper follow-up.
- Monitor Voice of the Customer (VOTC) metrics on Amazon.
- Manage Amazon and eBay seller feedback.
Marketplace
Amazon is at the centre of what we do, so keeping an eye on marketplace activity and customer-facing standards is an important part of the role. You will help monitor accounts and listing health, spot anything that needs attention, and flag issues to the wider team so they can be resolved quickly. Over time, you will build a solid understanding of how our marketplace operations work together.
- Monitor Amazon and eBay account health and flag issues where needed.
- Keep an eye on listing quality and customer-facing content.
- Escalate marketplace or operational issues to the relevant teams.
- Support day-to-day marketplace administration where required.
Influencer & Social Media
We occasionally work with influencers and content creators, and you will help keep communication and follow-ups organised. There may also be some light social media support depending on your interests and experience.
- Respond to inbound influencer enquiries and pass on anything that needs escalation.
- Follow up with influencers after products have been sent to ensure agreed content is posted.
- Keep influencer records and communications organised.
- Support occasional social media posting where needed.
If you are particularly interested in social media, there is scope to get more involved over time.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in ecommerce, customer service, or a similar digital role - or a clear aptitude and a genuine enthusiasm to learn.
- Organised and reliable: you manage your own workload, follow things through without needing reminders.
- Comfortable responding professionally across different channels and audiences.
- At ease picking up new tools and platforms - we use a few and you will need to get across them.
- Comfortable using AI tools to work more efficiently, or genuinely keen to learn.
- Good attention to detail, especially on anything customer-facing.
- Happy working in a small team where everyone is hands-on.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central or eBay selling tools.
- Experience with tools such as Shopify, Linnworks, or xSellCo
- Experience managing online reviews or seller feedback.
- Any background in influencer coordination or social media.
How success is measured
In your first three months, you will be getting it right if:
- Customer queries are answered promptly and professionally without needing reminders.
- Reviews and feedback across all platforms are monitored consistently and responses go out on time.
- Marketplace issues are spotted and acted on before they become problems.
- Influencer follow-ups are happening on schedule and records are in good shape.
- You are confident in the tools and making a visible contribution to the team.
Working pattern
Hybrid - 3 days in office (days to be agreed), 2 days remote.
You will be office-based during your induction and training period before moving to hybrid. We are ideally looking for someone full-time (40 hours per week), but we are open to the right person on slightly reduced hours. Salary is pro-rated accordingly.
