Construction Plant Operative – Train to Become an Instructor/NVQ Assessor
Based in Redditch, West Midlands (Nationwide Travel Required)
£35,000 during training | Up to £50000 once qualified

About the Role:

Total Construction Training is seeking an experienced Construction/Waste Plant Operative ready to take the next step in their career by training to become a qualified Instructor and Level 2 NVQ Assessor.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled plant operator who wants to move off the tools and into a rewarding training role, delivering high-quality plant and NVQ training across the UK.

Plant Categories Covered:

Training will be delivered in the following categories:

Forward Tipping Dumper
Ride-on Roller
360 Excavator
Telescopic Handler
Slinger/Signaller
Loading Shovel
Vehicle Marshall
Counterbalance Forklift

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

Proven experience operating a Loading Shovel, 360 Excavator, and/or Materials Re-Handler

Desirable (but not essential):

Experience operating the additional plant listed above

Full instructor and assessor training, along with relevant certifications, will be provided to the right candidate.

What’s on Offer:

£35,000 starting salary during training
Up to £45,500 once fully qualified as an Instructor/NVQ Assessor
