About the Role

Location: Beaulieu Road , Lyndhurst

Hours: Full Time

Salary: 13.26 p/h base rate (plus fixed service charge)

We are currently seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our passionate kitchen brigade at Lime Wood.

Lime Wood is a 33-bedroom boutique country house set in the heart of the New Forest National Park. It is laid-back 5* luxury at its best, with Chefs Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder at the helm of the kitchen and a wellness spa within the grounds.

About the role:

As Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintain the efficient set up and service of our busy kitchen.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Cleaning and maintenance of all kitchen areas including floors / walls / surfaces
Regular emptying, cleaning and Maintenance of all bins and designated refuse areas
Correct application of cleaning apparatus and chemicals
Cleaning, organisation and storage of kitchen equipment and restaurant crockery
Supporting chefs to ensure the smooth running of a busy hotel kitchen whilst adhering to health & safety / food hygeine regulations

About you:

Experience working in a kitchen as a Porter or similar role is beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Commitment and the ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment is a must. All applicants must be able to work on their feet through their shift.
