Business Support and Finance Officer (Part-Time, Home-Based)

· £13.30 per hour (£25,583 FTE equivalent) · 6 hours per week 1

· Home-based - across Wales

· Location: Home-based across Wales, with occasional travel.

· Travel: Some travel may be required to meetings, events and activities, particularly within Neath Port Talbot and Swansea and the surrounding areas. Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Business Support and Finance Officer

6 hours per week

£13.30 per hour (£25,583 FTE equivalent)

Purpose of the Role

To provide reliable administrative, organisational and financial support to PAN Cymru, helping ensure activities, events and day-to-day operations are effectively coordinated and administered.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide day-to-day administrative support across PAN Cymru activities.

· Maintain accurate financial records and audit trails.

· Process invoices, expenses and authorised payments.

· Support the organisation of meetings, training and events.

· Arrange venues, bookings and event logistics where required.

· Maintain records, calendars and supporting documentation.

· Support communications and social media activity.

· Ensure compliance with GDPR and confidentiality standards.

· Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and organisational values. ---

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

· Experience of administrative or business support work.

· Confidence using spreadsheets and maintaining accurate records.

· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

Desirable Criteria

· Experience of financial administration, bookkeeping or invoice processing.

· Experience organising meetings, events or training activities.

· Experience supporting communications or social media activity.

· Experience within a charity, voluntary sector or community-based organisation.

· Welsh language skills (welcomed but not essential).
