Electrician

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and professional Electrician to join our technical services team at our client site in Swindon. This is a varied, hands-on role responsible for delivering planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance across electrical systems, building services, and site infrastructure.

You will play a key role in ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with site standards, including GMP requirements where applicable.

What you’ll do

Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive electrical maintenance across the site
Diagnose faults and complete repairs to plant, equipment, and building services
Support mechanical and fabric maintenance tasks where required
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time allocation
Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations, safe systems of work, and site procedures
Assist and oversee third-party contractors when required
Report maintenance issues, risks, or potential service disruptions promptly
Maintain high standards of professionalism and client service at all times

What you’ll bring

City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds 2382)
Inspection and Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391/2395 or equivalent)
Experience in a similar maintenance or facilities role
Good understanding of health & safety regulations, including safe systems of work
Ability to diagnose faults and work independently
Strong communication skills and a professional approach

Desirable:

PAT Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2377)
ECS Gold Card or IPAF certification
