Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, representing our organisation with professionalism and courtesy. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop administrative skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Greeting visitors and directing them appropriately
Answering and screening incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette
Managing appointments and scheduling using organisational tools
Handling data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office and Online Workspace applications
Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area
Assisting with general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and email correspondence
Supporting other administrative staff with various clerical tasks as required

Qualifications

Proven office experience or administrative background
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
Experience with data entry and clerical work
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Good typing speed and accuracy
Knowledge of QuickBooks is desirable but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate
Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in customer service or reception roles is advantageousThis position is ideal for organised individuals who thrive in a busy environment and enjoy providing outstanding service.
