The Role
We are seeking an experienced Professional Service Technician / Groundcare Engineer / Mechanic / Agricultural Engineer. This role is vital in supporting our operations by carrying out reconditioning, servicing and repairs on a range of different machinery. This is a mostly workshop-based role but also includes some on site work. Excellent conditions with all the necessary tools and equipment - Heated workshops, Air conditioned canteen, PPE provided, excellent Health and Safety
Responsibilities
- Reconditioning Machinery to high standards - in house training provided
- Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of professional groundcare machines
- Carry out servicing and maintenance
- Work to a high standard to ensure reliability and performance of equipment
- attend jobs on-site
- Keep accurate records of work carried out
Experience
- An honest, and reliable individual with a good work ethic
- Experience working with professional groundcare machinery or tractors - other skills PCV, Forklift, Plant mechanic are acceptable alternatives
- Good knowledge of Ransomes, John Deere, Kubota, Hayter, Trimax or similar brands would be preferred but in house training will be provided
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- relevant mechanical experience required
- problem solving skills - esp mechanical skills relevant to the work
- basic auto electrical fault finding skills - relays switches - continuity testing etc
