Part-Time position

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for clients. Your expertise in various styling techniques, alongside your ability to communicate effectively with clients, will contribute to their overall satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities

Provide a range of hair services, including cutting, colouring, and styling, tailored to individual client needs.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends and techniques in hair styling and care.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide professional advice on styles and products.
Upsell additional services and products to enhance the client experience and meet salon goals.
Assist in front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Mentor junior stylists or apprentices, sharing your skills and knowledge to foster their development.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the salon environment to ensure a pleasant experience for all clients.
Stay informed about new trends in barbering techniques
Skills
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and recommendations.
Experience in barbering is an advantage, demonstrating versatility in hair styling techniques.
Ability to upsell services and products confidently while maintaining client satisfaction.
Mentoring skills to guide less experienced staff members effectively.
Familiarity with front desk operations within a salon setting is beneficial.
