Overview
We are seeking a diligent and organised Part-Time Company Secretary to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the company's compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, supporting governance processes, and maintaining accurate records. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexible working hours while contributing to the effective management of corporate affairs. A focus on quality assurance and attention to detail are essential qualities for this role.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update statutory registers and records in accordance with legal requirements
Prepare and file necessary documents with regulatory authorities within specified deadlines
Assist in organising board meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and related documentation
Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and internal policies
Support the organisation of shareholder meetings and maintain communication with stakeholders
Monitor changes in relevant legislation and ensure company compliance accordingly
Contribute to quality assurance processes to uphold organisational standards and procedures

Working Hours:

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (12 hours per week)

Requirements

Proven experience or strong understanding of corporate governance and statutory compliance
Excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge or experience in quality assurance practices is highly desirable
Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
Proficiency in relevant software tools for record keeping and document management
Comfortable Modern Office:
Our office is fully air-conditioned, ensuring a cool, comfortable, and productive working environment throughout the summer months.
