Full job description

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and organised Sales Administrator / Sales Executive to join our growing packaging manufacturing business based in Leek, Staffordshire. This is an office-based role supporting the sales and customer service function, helping to maintain strong client relationships and ensuring smooth day-to-day administration.

The role can be tailored as either part-time or full-time depending on the candidate’s experience and availability.

Key Responsibilities

A proactive approach to sales
Handling customer enquiries via phone and email
Processing sales orders and quotations accurately
Supporting the sales team with administrative tasks
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
Liaising with production and dispatch teams regarding orders and delivery schedules
Updating customer records
Following up quotations and potential sales opportunities
Assisting with account management and general office duties
Preparing reports, spreadsheets, and sales documentation

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience in sales administration, internal sales, customer service, or office administration essential
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong telephone manner and customer-focused approach
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Experience within manufacturing or packaging industry beneficial but not essential
