Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and organised Admin/Sales Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting sales operations and administrative functions to ensure smooth business processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and proficiency in various computer applications. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support for sales activities, including preparing documents and reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Manage customer relationships using CRM software and maintain accurate records of sales interactions
Assist with sales administration tasks such as processing orders, quotations, and invoicing
Utilise Microsoft Excel for data entry, analysis, and reporting purposes
Support the sales team with scheduling appointments and follow-ups via Microsoft Outlook and other communication tools
Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to enquiries and providing product information
Maintain organised filing systems for both digital and physical documents
Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and communication flow within the organisation

Requirements

Proven experience in administrative roles or sales support is preferred
Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Familiarity with CRM software is advantageous
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Good IT skills with a solid understanding of computer systems and software applications
Demonstrated time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently
Previous experience in customer service or sales administration is desirable
