£26,000 Basic | £32,000–£40,000 OTE | Full-Time (37.5 hrs)

This is not a desk job.
This is a lead-from-the-front role for someone who loves fitness, thrives on responsibility, and wants to run a gym as if it were their own.

At Fitness Worx, we don’t do average gyms. We build high-performing teams, loyal members, and strong communities — and we’re looking for a driven Gym Manager to take our Leamington club to the next level.

Fitness Worx is one of the UK’s fastest-growing, family-owned gym groups, now operating 9 sites across the UK including Kenilworth, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Coventry, Southam, Bristol and more.

We specialise in Personal Training, coaching-led memberships, and outstanding service. Our culture is supportive, energetic, and standards-driven — and that’s why our members stay.

The Role

As Gym Manager, you’ll be fully accountable for the day-to-day performance of the club.

You will:

Lead, coach, and inspire your team
Deliver Personal Training sessions and fitness classes
Drive membership growth and retention
Maintain exceptional standards across the facility
Own the atmosphere, energy, and results of the gym

You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager and fellow Gym Managers across our 9-site network to continually raise standards and performance across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

Club Operations & Standards

Own the daily running of the gym including cleanliness, safety, equipment, and member experience
Ensure all Health & Safety standards are met and maintained
Manage rotas, inspections, repairs, suppliers, and stock
Handle member enquiries, sign-ups, feedback, and complaints professionally

Team Leadership

Recruit, onboard, and develop Personal Trainers and front-of-house staff
Build a motivated, high-performing team culture
Run regular team meetings and one-to-one sessions
Coach individuals to improve performance and support career progression

Coaching, PT & Classes

Deliver Personal Training sessions and group fitness classes
Lead by example on the gym floor
Support members in achieving real, measurable results

Sales, Growth & Retention

Drive new memberships and retain existing members
Promote classes, events, and Personal Training services
Take ownership of club revenue and overall performance

Budgets & Business Performance

Manage costs, control spend, and maximise profitability
Forecast income and identify opportunities for growth

What We’re Looking For

This role is not suitable for someone who wants to stay in the office.

We are looking for someone who:

Holds a Level 3 Personal Training qualification (or equivalent)
Has experience leading a team in a gym or fitness environment
Is confident, approachable, and people-focused
Thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on role
Takes pride in high standards, energy, and results

What You’ll Get

£26,000 basic salary
OTE of £32,000–£40,000 (bonus and commission)
