Full job description

To participate in oncology patient management in early phase clinical trials
To become familiar with early phase trial protocols and working practice within VCC
To promote unifying working practice in early phase trials between VCC trials unit and CRF at UHW and perform duties at both sites.

To conduct research within early phase oncology trial research and contribute to the overall research performance of Velindre and Cardiff University, carrying out research contributing to improvements in delivery of early phase oncology clinical trials and leading to the publishing of work in high-quality journals. The post is also designed to generate research proposals that can be submitted to gain funding to undertake a higher research degree.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

This post is fixed term for 12 months due to - meet the needs of the service
