Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, assisting with food preparation, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a welcoming experience, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting daily operations in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other drinks in accordance with company standards
Assist with food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and freshness
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system efficiently
Keep the work area clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout shifts
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation
Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper food handling procedures

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour
Ability to work well as part of a team and independently when required
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if necessary
