As we enter the next phase of growth, we are looking for an exceptional Executive Chef / Head Chef to lead our culinary strategy and help shape the future of the brand.
This is a rare opportunity for a creative and commercially minded chef to make a genuine impact on a growing multi-site hospitality business.
THE ROLE
This is not a traditional Head Chef position.
We are looking for a culinary leader who can combine creativity, operational excellence and commercial awareness.
You will be responsible for developing innovative menus, improving food standards across all locations, supporting operational teams, training kitchen staff and helping position the business as one of the UK's leading café brands.
You will work closely with the leadership team and have significant influence over the future direction of the food offering.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCulinary Leadership
- Lead the overall culinary direction of the business

- Create systems that ensure consistency across multiple stores
- Support future expansion plans
Menu Development
- Design and launch innovative brunch menus
- Develop seasonal menu updates
- Create limited-time offers and promotional products
- Research emerging food trends and customer preferences
- Develop dishes that appeal to Gen Z and Millennial audiences
- Introduce visually exciting and social-media-friendly menu items
- Balance creativity with operational simplicity and profitability
- Create dishes that can be replicated consistently across multiple sites
Food Innovation
We are seeking someone who understands:

The successful candidate will be expected to bring fresh ideas and continuously evolve the menu offering.
MULTI-SITE OPERATIONS
You will oversee food operations across our growing network of locations.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting regular site visits and food audits
- Supporting store managers and operational teams
- Ensuring recipe compliance
- Monitoring food quality and consistency
- Improving kitchen efficiencies
- Managing food specifications
- Reducing wastage
- Increasing gross profit margins
- Maintaining food safety standards
- Ensuring operational excellence across all locations
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
People development will form a key part of the role.
You will:
- Train chefs and kitchen teams
- Develop comprehensive training programmes
- Create recipe manuals and operational guides
- Produce specification sheets and cooking procedures
- Deliver practical kitchen workshops
- Support new store openings
- Coach and mentor future kitchen leaders
- Build a culture of culinary excellence throughout the business
CENTRAL KITCHEN & SUPPLY CHAIN
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a structured multi-site environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Recipe standardisation
- Menu costing and margin analysis
- Central production planning
- Product development
- Supplier sourcing and management
- Procurement support
- Yield management
- Portion control systems
- Cost engineering
- New product implementation
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
We are looking for a proven hospitality professional who possesses:
- Executive Chef or Group Head Chef experience
- Multi-site hospitality experience
- Strong brunch menu development experience
- Experience within café, restaurant or hospitality groups
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness
- Experience launching successful menu concepts
- Experience improving operational performance
- Strong understanding of food cost control and profitability
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams
- Passion for innovation and continuous improvement
IDEAL CANDIDATE

Pay: £29,373.51-£69,311.66 per year
