About the Role

Are you an organised, proactive property professional looking to join a dynamic and highly respected local agency? Simpsons Property Experts are seeking a dedicated Lettings Property Manager to oversee our growing property portfolio.

Based at our Thrapston hub, you will act as the crucial link between our landlords, tenants, and contractors across the busy Northamptonshire areas. You will be the go to person for ensuring our tenancies run smoothly, our properties are well-maintained, and our clients receive the exceptional customer service Simpsons Property Experts are known for.

Key Responsibilities

Property Maintenance & Compliance: Coordinate both planned and reactive maintenance, liaising closely with landlords, tenants, and trusted contractors to ensure all properties meet required safety and quality standards.
Tenancy Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records for all lettings activities. Oversee rent collection, efficiently manage arrears, and conduct thorough check-outs and property inspections.
End-of-Tenancy Operations: Handle deposit returns and professionally mediate any disputes that arise to ensure a fair resolution.
Customer Communication: Act as the first point of contact for enquiries via phone, email, and in-person, delivering prompt, professional, and helpful responses.
Regulatory Adherence: Ensure total compliance with current lettings legislation and company policies throughout every stage of the rental process.

Who We Are Looking For

Experienced Professional: You have proven administrative or management experience, ideally within the property management or lettings sector.
Exceptional Communicator: You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a natural ability to build rapport and manage relationships with a diverse range of clients and colleagues. (Note: Multilingual abilities are a distinct advantage!)
Highly Organised: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, boasting strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
Tech Savvy: You are comfortable learning new systems. While full training will be provided, prior proficiency in CRM software or property management tools is a major plus.
Independent & Team-Oriented: You are just as comfortable taking the initiative on independent tasks as you are collaborating with the wider Simpsons Property Experts team.
