Full job description

Robert Gordon’s College is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our busy team.

This is a full-time role working onsite, which will support the Finance team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Billing; Prepare and issue yearly and termly fee notes along with managing the direct debit invoicing and collections.
Credit Control and Debt Management; Ensure timely receipt of fees (including direct debits) and resolving any queries promptly.
Reporting and Reconciliation; Produce accurate weekly debtors reports. Analyse school trips and provide summary. Preparation of relevant balance sheets for the AR function.
Support with Bursary process.

Qualifications and Experience

Excellent IT Skills. Proficient in the use of MS Excel/Google sheets to manage data.
Detail-focussed.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Opportunity to complete or work towards qualifications.
