Full job description

We are looking for a reliable and hard-working person to join our kitchen team at Oliveto.

This role would suit someone with a positive attitude, good work ethic, and willingness to learn. Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential — we are more interested in finding someone who is proactive, calm under pressure, and ready to help wherever needed.

Main Responsibilities

Preparing starters and desserts during service
Assisting chefs in different sections of the kitchen
General food preparation and basic cooking tasks
Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and well stocked
Helping with deliveries, storage, and kitchen organisation
Supporting the team during busy services
Following food hygiene and safety standards at all times

What We Are Looking For

A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
Good teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable and punctual
Calm under pressure
Flexible and happy to help where needed
Evening and weekend availability is essential

Hours

Mainly evenings and weekends, with extra hours available during busy periods and holidays.

Experience

Kitchen experience is a bonus, but not required for the right person with the right attitude.

Pay: £12.21-£14.50 per hour
