Full job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Domestic Assistant to join our nursing residential care services in Maidstone, Kent.

Our ethos is to be family-oriented, professional, hard-working and resident-led. A happy atmosphere is promoted by Management, as this adds to the home's environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning all surfaces and floors in public areas, including the use of mechanical cleaning and polishing equipment as directed.
Cleaning the resident's room, including all surfaces and floors, cleaning toilets, baths, basins, showers and sluice rooms
Dusting all surfaces and furniture
Dusting, vacuuming and washing down of all areas
Cleaning of all windows
Polishing of mirrors, brass plates on doors and furniture (as applicable)
Shampooing of carpets
Cleaning of curtains and furniture
Emptying/cleaning of waste bins
You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of laundry within the home

Some experience in a similar role is preferred, although full training will be given.
