Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a hospitality environment, providing excellent service to our patrons. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, be well-organised. Previous bar experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All positions are paid, ensuring fair compensation for your efforts.

Duties

Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to food safety standards
Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
Restock bar supplies and ensure stock levels are maintained throughout shifts
Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
Provide excellent customer service, addressing any queries or concerns promptly
Uphold health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food and beverages
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is preferred but not mandatory
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy hours
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Ability to work well under pressure
A personable attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during peak hours as required
