Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Leader to oversee and enhance our organisation’s quality assurance processes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of product safety, compliance, and excellence. This position offers an opportunity to lead quality initiatives, support continuous improvement, and ensure our products meet both regulatory requirements and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analysis skills and experience with HACCP principles, contributing to the organisation’s reputation for quality.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance programmes in line with industry standards and regulations.
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with HACCP protocols and other safety standards.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality procedures.
Analyse quality data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for process optimisation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop corrective actions and preventive measures.
Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
Support product development teams by reviewing specifications and conducting risk assessments.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality activities, reports, and audit findings.

Skills

Proven experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing or food production environment.
Strong understanding of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
Organised approach with meticulous attention to detail.
Effective communication skills for training staff and liaising with regulatory bodies.
Ability to lead initiatives for continuous improvement while fostering a culture of quality excellence.
Proficiency in relevant quality management systems (QMS) software is desirable. This role offers an engaging environment where your expertise will directly impact product safety and organisational success. Pay: £24,420.00-£49,090.83 per year
