Full job description

Job Overview

Self-employed beauty therapist required to cover an established client base and overflow appointments within a busy salon/studio

Responsibilities

Provide professional beauty treatments including waxing and lash and brow treatments tailored to each client’s needs
Assist clients in selecting suitable products and services to achieve their desired look or skincare goals
Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic treatment area in compliance with health and safety standards
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication, ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat visits
Stay informed about the latest beauty techniques, products, and industry trends to offer innovative solutions
Manage appointment scheduling efficiently while maximizing client satisfaction and operational flow
Educate clients on skincare routines, product usage, and aftercare to promote ongoing wellness

Requirements

Proven experience as a Beauty Therapist or similar role with a focus on wax, lash and brow treatments
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide clear advice
Ability to work flexibly across various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to beauty treatments and hygiene standards
A genuine passion for the beauty industry coupled with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
