The Role:
This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for an experienced maintenance professional who takes pride in their work and enjoys working across multiple trades. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of repairs, maintenance works, and property improvements within residential properties, whilst delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
No two days are the same, making this an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- General property maintenance and repairs
- Window and door repairs, including hinges, handles, locks, adjustments, and minor remedial works
- Plumbing repairs, including taps, toilets, leaks, sanitaryware, and drainage issues
- Gas / boiler repairs
- Basic electrical works and fault-finding (relevant qualifications preferred)
- Plastering, patch repairs, and making good
- Internal and external decorating
- Flooring installation and repairs, including laminate, vinyl, and LVT
- Landscaping, garden maintenance, and external property upkeep
- Fencing, gate repairs, and other outdoor maintenance works
- Kitchen and bathroom repairs and refurbishments
- Property clearances and preparation works
- Carpentry and general handyman duties
- Conducting property inspections and preparing quotations for prospective works
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the office team
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience within property maintenance, construction, or a similar trade-based role
- Strong all-round maintenance skills across multiple disciplines
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Professional, friendly, and customer-focused approach
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own van & tools preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

Desirable Qualifications:
- Plumbing qualifications (including GAS safe)
- Electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, NICEIC, etc.)
- Carpentry or construction-related qualifications
- Health & Safety certifications
