ARE YOU DEDICATED TO START A CAREER IN CHILDCARE
Responsibilities:
- To be an amazing play buddy to children aged 0-5 years whilst assisting the team to maintain the day to day operations of the nursery & completing a recognised Early Years childcare qualification.
- You must want to ensure each child is supported with their basic care needs, emotional warmth & support as well as providing fun activities & supervised play in the classrooms.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, instructions and guidelines provided by mentors or supervisor in order to learn skills in the profession.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest standards of care are upheld & the ethos of the company in maintained.
Requirements:
- A proven ability to speak & write english & an ability to be dedicated to self learning & complete a portfolio of evidence for the training provider.
- GCSE 4 or above in English & Maths.
- Strong desire to learn, develop skills & become qualified in the Early Years profession.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
- Good time management & be ready for the responsibilities of a workplace.
- Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and protocol.
Note: This position is an apprenticeship, which means you will be learning on the job under the guidance of experienced professionals. The duration of the apprenticeship may vary but is standard to be from 21 months to 24 months for a level 3 childcare qualification. All learners will be paid % of their weekly hours undertaking study.
A DBS check will be completed on every employee.
