Established in 1994, Bedfordshire Accommodation Bureau is one of Luton's leading independent letting agencies. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding service to both landlords and tenants and are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Lettings Administrator to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a busy office environment and is looking to develop a long-term career within the property industry.

The Role

As a Lettings Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of our busy lettings office. Your duties will include:

Handling telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries from landlords, tenants and contractors.
Providing a professional and welcoming service to visitors.
Preparing tenancy documentation and processing move-ins.
Registering and protecting tenant deposits.
Arranging property inspections, inventories, EPCs, Gas Safety Certificates, EICRs and other compliance requirements.
Managing rental accounts and assisting with rent-related enquiries.
Updating our property management software and maintaining accurate records.
Supporting the lettings team with general office administration.

What We're Looking ForEssential

At least one year's administration experience.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced office environment.
Professional, reliable and well presented.

Desirable

Previous experience within a lettings or estate agency.
Knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation.
Experience using property management software.

Competitive salary of £26,000–£28,000 depending on experience.
Monday to Friday working hours (9:30am–6:00pm).
