About the company:

Andrews Coatings is a long-standing, independent business with over 60 years’ experience supplying specialist paints and coatings across the UK. Built on strong values of service, trust and expertise, the company has grown from a family-run operation into a respected distributor and manufacturer, working with a wide range of industrial and trade customers. Still proudly independent and hands-on today, the business combines deep product knowledge with a practical, customer-first approach and is now focused on the next phase of growth, including expanding its own Andrews range and strengthening its ecommerce offering.

About the role:

This is a high-impact role in a growing, ambitious coatings business where you will take ownership of our ecommerce growth. You will have the autonomy to shape how we attract, convert and retain customers across our digital channels. Working directly with the owner, you will also play a key role in scaling the Andrews brand and launching our new product range.

The focus of this role

· Driving revenue through our ecommerce performance

· Improving how customers find and buy from our website

· Making data-led decisions using analytics and customer insights

· Supporting the launch and growth of our Andrews product range

What you will be doing:

Taking ownership of Google Ads performance, managing and optimising campaigns to drive high-intent traffic and deliver strong return on spend, with the opportunity to develop this area further
Managing and continuously improving our Shopify ecommerce site, including product content, structure, navigation and on-site experience
Continuously improving product pages, navigation and customer journeys, identifying where customers drop off and making practical changes to increase conversion
Implementing and building on SEO improvements, including metadata, site structure and keyword optimisation, to improve visibility over time
Managing product uploads, pricing updates and website content, ensuring everything is accurate, consistent and commercially effective
Managing and developing our social media presence on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn, creating and posting content while ensuring activity supports brand visibility and drives engagement and traffic
Using tools such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand performance, spot opportunities and turn insight into clear, actionable improvements
Monitoring site health and performance, using tools like Google Search Console to identify issues and keep the website running effectively
Supporting and gradually building email campaigns and customer communication workflows, helping improve how we engage and retain customers
Working alongside the owner in playing a key role in bringing the new Andrews product range to life online, helping shape how it is presented, positioned and sold

You will come with:

Solid hands-on experience working with websites & ecommerce platforms, including product uploads, pricing updates and maintaining a clean, accurate catalogue
A good working understanding of SEO principles, including metadata, page structure and keyword optimisation, and the confidence to implement improvements yourself
Experience using Google Analytics to understand performance and identify where improvements can be made
Exposure to tools like Microsoft Clarity (or similar) to analyse user behavior and improve customer journeys
A working knowledge of site health and performance, ideally including experience with tools like Google Search Console or similar
Experience with, or strong exposure to, Google Ads, including an understanding of performance metrics such as ROAS, CPC and conversion rate
The ability to take data and insight and turn it into clear, practical actions that improve website performance or customer experience
Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing product data, pricing and website content
A commercially minded approach - you care about what drives revenue, conversion and customer experience, not just completing tasks
The confidence to take ownership of your area, work independently and continuously improve how things are done
