Summary

We are seeking a Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team at International Pipeline and Structural Solutions Limited. This role is pivotal in the finance department.

Job description

You’ll be responsible for processing Purchase and Sales ledger entries, ensuring compliance with tax rules and regulations, debt chasing, email monitoring. You will be dealing with suppliers and customers.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you’ll contribute to strategic decisions, handle sales, purchase ledger, and credit control.

Duties will include (not limited to):

Sales & Purchase ledger entries
Dealing with Customers & Suppliers, via email and telephone
Email monitoring and management
Debt chasing
Assisting the Group Financial Controller with Adhoc duties
Assisting the Directors

Person Specification

To succeed in this role, you’ll be a proactive and highly organised finance professional with a strategic mindset and attention to detail. You’ll be able to communicate effectively at all levels and bring a hands-on approach to support our growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

You will have AAT Level 2 as a minimum
3 years accounts admin experience

Technical Skills:

Proficient with Excel and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficient on Sage 50

Personal Attributes:

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple responsibilities effectively
High level of integrity
Adaptable and comfortable

Interpersonal Skills:

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
