Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding service to our customers. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. We are looking for an all-rounder to cover Reception, Servery, General Floor, stepping up to run a shift in a supervisory role from time to time - full training will be provided. To include weekend work.

Duties

Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
Provide accurate information regarding products and services while demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
Assist customers with their orders, including upselling additional products when appropriate.
Maintain an organised record of customer interactions and transactions.
Collaborate with team members to resolve customer issues effectively.
Conduct merchandising activities as needed, ensuring product displays are attractive and well-stocked.
Utilise basic math skills to process transactions accurately.
Manage time effectively to handle a high volume of customer requests while maintaining quality service.

Qualifications

Proficiency in English is required.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Familiarity with merchandising principles is an advantage.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing accurate information.
Proven time management abilities to ensure timely responses to customer queries.
Previous experience in a customer service role is beneficial but not mandatory. Join us in delivering exceptional service that enhances our customers' experiences!

Pay: £12.71 per hour
